Barentz Promotes Shadan Rahman to Purchasing Specialist for the Barentz Personal Care Division

AVON, OH, February 27th, 2024. Barentz, a leading distributor of life science ingredients and specialty chemical solutions is excited to announce that Shadan Rahman will be promoted to Purchasing Specialist for the Personal Care division covering North America (Canada). This role reflects a fantastic alignment with our division’s Principal-led strategy approach, and is key in supporting the growth of our Personal Care division at Barentz.
Shadan joined the Personal Care team in May of 2018, as a Sales Coordinator where she has provided exceptional support. In her new role, Shadan has taken on a very critical role for Personal Care, being responsible for sourcing from all of our Personal Care Canadian suppliers. Shadan is also overseeing the planning and purchasing of materials and products to support production schedules, sales forecasting, and inventory schedules, as well as the transfer of materials in support of customer demands.
She will support Principal Managers with supplier needs and requirements, and will support Account Managers with customer needs. Shadan’s promotion is a testament to her hard work and dedication, and we are eager to see the impact she will have on Barentz as we continue to grow and expand.
